BEAT THE WINTER BLUES TO-DOS

1. Host a Pizza Party! Invite friends and family over for make-your-own-pizza. Think outside of the 'box' and make fun shaped pizzas for the kids. Forget plain pepperoni! Top your next pie with fun and more enticing fixings. Here are a few ideas to try: Nutella & strawberry Desert Pizza; Breakfast Pizza with scrambled eggs & sausage; Taco Quesadilla Pizza (ground beef, salsa, cheddar cheese, black olives); Loaded Baked Potato Pizza (bacon, potato, cheddar cheese).

2. Pose for a picture (or two) in front of your favourite murals at Graffiti Alley. This hidden gem might be Toronto’s most unexpected tourist attraction. Located at Rush Lane just south of Queen St, Toronto.

3. Looking for a laid-back way to entertain friends? When it’s too cold to be outside, host a grown-up games night! The fun is built-in, the laughs are plentiful, and the company is always a pleasure. Some of our favourite games include Codenames, Settlers of Catan and the classic of course, Monopoly.

4. Enjoy some alone time and get lost in a book at the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library. As one of the leading research libraries in North America, the mandate of the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library is to foster the search for knowledge by supporting research and learning across all disciplines taught at the University of Toronto. Located at the University of Toronto at 120 St George St.
